ANNOUNCEMENT:

At this time, Yard Sale Trail is still scheduled for the weekend of August 14-16th.
We are monitoring the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic information from county and state offices.
We will update this post if any changes are made.

COMMON SENSE WITH YARD SALES
In order to be safe during these unique times, the following are suggested:
1.  If someone is not feeling well in ANY way or they have underlining health conditions, please stay home.  A person's life is so much more valuable than any bargain one may find along the trail.  It's great to have people sell/shop for this event, but there is always next year.

2.  Practice the social distance guidelines.  Six feet away is the minimum recommended distance to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.  This can be difficult sometimes when lots of people are looking at a table or item.

3.  Wear a mask.  Even outdoors, masks are advised when social distancing cannot be maintained.  We have all been to sales where there are lots of people, shoulder to shoulder, because of all the great bargains out there.  Wearing a mask will greatly reduce the risk of transmission.

4.  Disinfect your hands constantly and wash them when you can.  Obviously, not everyone has a wash sink in their car (well, maybe you got one along the trail).  Use disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer regularly especially after examining items.  Wash your hands before eating and try to avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

5.  Please, please, please be courteous to the sellers and the other shoppers.  Everyone is looking for those bargains and want to see everything available and with all the guidelines that are in place, tensions can rise up under certain circumstances.  Be nice.  Ask politely.
We are here to have fun and enjoy the time.

6.  Please be VERY AWARE of all shoppers and cars along the trail when driving.  Pedestrians will be everywhere. Stay alert and slow down.  Pedestrians need to always watch for cars when crossing roads and also be patient and courteous.

CDC Outdoor Guidelines:

NOTE:  ALL YARD SALES ARE INDEPENDENTLY OPERATED WITH NO AFFILIATION OF THE EVENT ORGANIZER.
